Lonnie Mackenzie

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Elevators run deep in the Mackenzie family - owner Lonnie Mackenzie is a third-generation elevator technician, with over 25 years of experience in the elevator industry.

After working in the industry for several years, Lonnie sought a change of pace and pursued his interest in health and safety, training as a Primary Care Paramedic. His practice as a First Responder provided him with insight into the striking similarities between patient care and professionalism and made him realize the importance of positive and respectful business and employee relationships.

Motivated by a desire to help people and an inherent visionary leadership style, Lonnie founded Abco in 2008, with the intent of creating a unique company, based on the philosophies of customer service excellence and the benefits of a supportive and productive working environment.

Elevator Service Technician Daniel Nelson Abco Elevator

Daniel Nelson

FIELD OPERATIONS LEAD

The newest addition to the Leadership Team at Abco is also the youngest – but he’s not new to elevators. A journeyman electrician, he has been with Abco since 2018. Daniel moved from Elevator Tech to Field Operations Lead recently.

Having served Abco customers himself, he has a deep knowledge of how to address incoming calls and handle staffing requirements. His attention to detail, ability to multitask and natural leadership abilities have made the field team more effective and efficient. And around the office, Daniel is always willing to lend a hand to whatever situation comes up. A self-starter, Daniel is a natural process builder, using these improvements to elevate the customer experience.

Like Lonnie, Daniel is an MCU and Star Wars fan. He is a self-taught coder (he even created a brand new inventory system for Abco!) He likes to go out to supper with his girlfriend Micalah and visit with their close group of friends.
